I live in West Chester and am a mother to two amazing kids, Miles (10) and Caroline (6). Our family started out as Covid homeschoolers and loved it so much, we decided to keep going! We joined Spark in the Spring of 2021 and really felt like we had found our community. I am a professional violist and teach private viola and violin lessons, however, my passion right now is macro photography and diving deeper into unschooling.

I am so happy to have found SPARK and I am glad you found us too! I am Ronda, mother to Heidi, age 7. Like many others we started homeschooling during the pandemic and have excitedly continued. Our family currently lives on the Westside of Cincinnati but we are collectively from Northern Kentucky, Toledo and Thailand. I have been an educator for over 20 years who now enjoys deschooling, unschooling and exploring learning as a lifestyle. I have also enjoyed being a travel agent, and property manager. My favorite thing about Spark is connecting with other moms and learning, growing together and supporting one another. I have made amazing friendships at Spark. I also really love connecting with kids of all ages and exploring diverse interests.

I am a homeschooling mother of two sweet children George (10) and Elanna (8). We just finished our second year of homeschooling and only joined SPARK this past season. We are a secular eclectic homeschooling family, choosing what works best for each child’s learning style. We recently moved to Northern Kentucky and are enjoying learning about new places and kindling new friendships. SPARK has been a wonderful place for my children and me to grow these friendships. Along with homeschooling, I work at the hospital as a staffing coordinator and enjoy reading, writing, sewing, and camping.

Welcome! I am a Direct Support Professional for individuals with disabilities as well as the mother of Theo age four. My husband Dmitri was born in Ukraine and came to the States at age six. I was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. Our goal as a family is to travel and see the world exploring life and learning as much as we can as we go. Though we are just beginning our homeschool journey, my husband has a homeschool diploma and I have known I wanted to do this before we had a kid. We have a large family on both sides, Theo has many cousins, but we wanted more exposure to other homeschooling families. I discovered SPARK last year, it has been a beautiful blessing getting together with these families weekly and connecting with all the other parents. We are looking forward to many years with the SPARK community.
